Birmingham Airport Grading

This project is located at the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. The project involved improvements to the runway glideslope critical area. It encompassed approx. 13 acres and included 50,000 cubic yards of cut to fill excavation and grading as well as the installation of 1,400 linear feet of concrete storm pipe and structures and erosion control measures.

Coyote Drive-in Theater

This project is the site of a new multi-screen drive-in theater located adjacent to The Outlet Shops of Grand River. This interesting project included the grading of parking and drive lane areas for four outdoor movie screens. The parking areas were constructed with slopes for each row to have comfortable viewing angles to each targeted screen. Over 12,000 tons of stone base was required to be precisely placed and compacted. The project also included installation of storm water management, sanitary sewers, water main and erosion control.

Lifetime Fitness Health Club

This project is the site of a new Life Time Fitness Health Club. The project included approx. 50,000 cubic yards of cut to fill excavation and grading, fine grading for buildings, parking and tennis courts as well as the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, retaining walls, construction of (2) Bermuda sod bio retention cells, over 3,400LF of storm and sanitary sewers, over 2,700LF of water & fire mains, 7,000LF of curb & gutters, and over 25,000SY of asphalt paving.

St. Vincent’s Surgery Center

This project is the site of a new Urgent Care and Ambulatory Surgery Center. The project encompasses approx. 7 acres and involved over 35,000 cubic yards of grading and borrow excavation as well as the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, over 1,500LF of storm sewer and structures, sanitary sewer mains and water mains.

Vestavia Hills Library

This project is the site of a new Public Library with a unique design and consideration of the environment. The project included the harvesting of on-site trees for processing and use within the building. The site was relatively small at just over 3 acres, but the site was tiered to help minimize disturbance to the environment. It included erosion control and maintenance, grading, retaining walls, storm water management, including a rainwater storage system, sanitary sewer mains, water & fire mains, curb & gutter and asphalt paving.

Maserati, Alpha Romeo Dealership

This project will provide for the new home of the Maserati, Alpha Romeo and Fiat dealerships on Grants Mill Road across from the Irondale Auto Mall. The project encompasses approx. 6 acres and 30,000 cubic yards of cut to fill excavation and grading as well as the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, retaining walls, storm water management, sanitary sewers, water mains and services, curb & gutter and asphalt paving.

St. Vincent’s Outpatient Clinic

This project will provide the location for St. Vincent’s Health System’s new facility for outpatient services, primary care, after hours/urgent care, wellness services and physical therapy. Conveniently located just off I-59 at the Deerfoot Parkway exit. The project encompasses approx. 8 acres and 64,000 cubic yards of cut to fill excavation and grading as well as the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, storm water management, sanitary sewers, and water mains and services.
